I took a Japanese language placement test, and the professor took one look and said "oh yeah, you're definitely in the advanced class." I feel good about that.

Now that the plug has passed, I can say my college is pretty cool. I'm at Evergreen, taking "Japan Today," a class all about Japan and Japanese things. Interdisciplinary classes rock. Japan rocks. I'm hungry all the time. They serve food in intervals, and only the lunch interval makes any sense. Breakfast ends at freaking 9am, when it should start; Dinner is from 5:30pm-7pm. SEVEN. This is not right. I'm also looking for some work, applied at Starbucks all around Olympia. I hear the benefits are boss. I'm attempting to learn animation, starting with the basic basics of Flash. I'll be moving on to After Effects pretty soon too. I can't wait for my classes to start. Because I actually WANT to learn. There's a reason I'm putting myself in thousands of dollars of debt. Just got schooled... No pun intended... I'll just go.
